Ohana Surf & Skate & The Galveston Island Humane Society (GIHS) is happy to present the 13th Annual Ohana Surf Dog Competition, Saturday July 18th as all the greater Gulf Coast region of Surf Dogs unite for a cause.
All the general public is invited, as this is a free event for all friends and family.
The competition begins at 8:00am and ends promptly at 12noon to insure safety of both human and to protect our furry friends from the heat, all while raising funds to help advance our mission.
This all takes place on Galveston Island, On the Beach at 28th & Seawall Blvd.
OSS & GIHS is committed to creating a united community where respect, kindness, and humane animal care are priorities. Whereas, the shelter has made it a mission to develop innovative life-saving adoption programs, high-volume community spay and neuter programs, serving animals and people in times of crisis, and engaging the community to be part of the solution.
